Slow moving thunderstorms continue about parts of the Gulf Country this morning, particularly along the coast. Storms are becoming more isolated, slowly moving offshore and are no longer likely to producing heavy falls.

119.0 MM WAS RECORDED AT CLARAVILLE IN THE 3 HOURS TO 4:00 AM
92.0 MM WAS RECORDED AT PROSPECT IN THE 60 MINUTES TO 2:03 AM.
93.0 mm was recorded at Yappar Junction in the 2 hours to 5:17 am.
73.8 mm was recorded at Normanton Airport in the 60 minutes to 02:52 am
Emergency services advise people to:
* Never drive, walk, play or ride through floodwater. It is dangerous.
* Stay away from storm water drains.
* Stay away from fallen powerlines.
* Drive slowly and never drive through floodwaters. If the road is flooded or damaged, go another way.
