MAJOR FLOODING CONTINUING AT BEDOURIE AND GLENGYLE
MAJOR FLOODING EASING SLOWLY AT MARION DOWNS
The main flood peak is travelling along Eyre Creek and has now passed Bedourie. The flood peak from Cluny (King Creek) is currently passing Glengyle, where further rises are likely in the next few days when the main flood peak from Eyre Creek arrives.
Showers and thunderstorms are forecast for the next few days, which may cause renewed river and creek level rises.
This situation is being monitored and this warning will be updated as required.

Georgina River to Marion Downs:
Moderate to major flooding is easing slowly along the Georgina River between Roxborough Downs and Marion Downs.
The Georgina River at Marion Downs is currently at 5.70 m and steady, with major flooding.
The Georgina River at Marion Downs is likely to remain above the major flood level (5.00 m) for the next few days.

Georgina River downstream of Marion Downs:
River levels are elevated along the Georgina River downstream of Marion Downs. Major flooding is easing along King Creek at Cluny.
Eyre Creek:
Major flooding is continuing at Bedourie and Glengyle.
The Eyre Creek at Bedourie is currently at 5.10 m and steady, with major flooding.
The Eyre Creek at Bedourie is likely to fall below the major flood level (5.00 m) during the weekend and will remain above the moderate flood level (4.00 m) into early next week.

No current observations are available, but The Eyre Creek at Glengyle is estimated to be above the major flood level (4.00 m), with major flooding.
The Eyre Creek at Glengyle is likely to remain above the major flood level (4.00 m) for the next few days, with further rises possible as upstream flows arrive.

MAJOR FLOODING CONTINUING AT WALKERS BEND
Major flooding is continuing along the lower Flinders River at Walkers Bend, where river levels are slowly falling. Renewed river level rises above the major flood level are possible at Walkers Bend into next week as floodwaters arrive from upstream.
Showers and thunderstorms are possible over the next few days, however these are not expected to significantly affect river levels.

Flinders River downstream of Richmond:
Major flooding is continuing along the Flinders River downstream of Richmond.
The Flinders River at Walkers Bend is currently at 8.77 m and falling, with major flooding.
The Flinders River at Walkers Bend is likely to continue to fall, but remain above the major flood level (8.00 m), during the weekend. With the arrival of upstream floodwaters renewed river level rises above the major flood level are possible from early next week.
