MINOR FLOODING NEARING A PEAK AT TAROOM SATURDAY AFTERNOON
Moderate to heavy rainfall over the past few days has resulted in river rises along the upper Dawson River and tributaries, with minor flooding occurring at Taroom.
No significant rainfall is forecast over the next few days and no further significant river level rises are expected.
Dawson River to Theodore:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Dawson River to Theodore. Minor flooding is easing at Tarana Crossing.
The Dawson River at Taroom is currently at 4.64 metres and rising, with minor flooding (minor flood level 4.50 metres).
The Dawson River at Taroom may peak around 4.80 metres Saturday afternoon, with minor flooding. River levels are expected to ease during Sunday.

Moderate Flood Warning For The Moonie River

MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT FLINTON LATE SATURDAY AND AT NINDIGULLY FROM TUESDAY
Recent rainfall has caused river and creek level rises across the upper Moonie River catchment, with minor to major flooding occurring upstream of Flinton. Moderate flooding is possible at Flinton from late Saturday. This flood peak will continue downstream to Nindigully, where minor flooding is expected from Sunday and moderate flooding is possible from Tuesday.
Further shower and thunderstorm activity from Wednesday onwards may cause further river and creek level rises.
Moonie River to Flinton:
Moderate flooding may occur along the Moonie River at Flinton. Moderate flooding is occurring at Kinkora and major flooding was observed at Tartha during Friday
No current observations are available for the Moonie River at Flinton (manual gauge). However, based on the downstream automatic gauge, river levels are expected to be just above the minor flood level (3.00 metres) and rising.
The Moonie River at Flinton may reach the moderate flood level (4.00 m) late Saturday. A moderate flood peak may occur overnight Saturday into Sunday.
Moonie River downstream of Flinton:
Moderate flooding may occur along the Moonie River downstream of Flinton.
The Moonie River at Nindigully is currently at 2.10 metres and steady, below the minor flood level (2.20 metres).
The Moonie River at Nindigully is expected to exceed the minor flood level (2.20 m) from Sunday. The river level may reach the moderate flood level (3.00 m) from Tuesday. Forecasts will be updated as upstream peaks are observed.

Moderate Flood Warning For The Upper Balonne River

MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT WARKON AND SURAT FROM MONDAY
Widespread rainfall was observed in the upper Balonne River catchment earlier this week. River level rises have been observed along Dogwood Creek and the upper Balonne River, where minor flooding is rising at Warkon and Surat.
Further showers and thunderstorm activity from Wednesday may cause further river and creek level rises.
Dogwood Creek:
River levels are easing along Dogwood Creek.
Balonne River to Surat:
Moderate flooding may occur along the Balonne River to Surat.
The Balonne River at Warkon was at 7.50 metres at 08:45 am Saturday and steady, above the minor flood level (7.00 m).
Further small rises are possible along the Balonne River at Warkon during Saturday evening. The river level may reach around 7.80 metres Saturday evening. Renewed rises are possible from late Sunday as floodwater arrives from upstream. The river level may reach the moderate flood level (8.00 m) during Monday.
No recent observations are available for the Balonne River at Surat, however based on the nearby automatic gauge the river level is expected to be around 6.60 metres and rising with minor flooding (minor flood level 5.00 m).
The Balonne River at Surat may reach around 6.80 metres during Saturday, with minor flooding. Renewed rises are possible from Monday as floodwater arrives from upstream. The river level may reach the moderate flood level (7.00 m) Monday evening.
Balonne River downstream of Surat to Beardmore Dam:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Balonne River downstream of Surat around Weribone.

MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT CUNNAMULLA FROM OVERNIGHT TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY
MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT BAKERS BEND, AND POSSIBLE AT WYANDRA FROM OVERNIGHT SUNDAY INTO MONDAY
Several flood peaks travelling through the Warrego, Langlo, and Ward rivers are now combining into a broad flood peak approaching Bakers Bend, where minor flooding is occurring. Further downstream, minor flooding is possible at Wyandra from overnight Sunday into Monday. This flood peak will continue downstream to Cunnamulla during the coming week, where minor flooding is expected from Monday and moderate flooding is possible from as early as overnight Tuesday into Wednesday.
No significant rainfall totals are forecast for the next few days. Thunderstorm activity from mid-to-late in the coming week may cause further river and creek level rises.
Warrego River to Charleville:
No further flooding is expected along the Warrego River at Charleville. Minor flooding is easing at Biddenham.
The Warrego River at Charleville peaked at 3.92 metres around 07:00 am Friday 22 November, just below the minor flood level (4.00 metres). The river level is currently at 2.32 metres and falling.
The Warrego River at Charleville will remain below the minor flood level (4.00 m).
Langlo and Ward Rivers:
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Langlo River at Warilda and Binnowee.
Warrego River downstream of Charleville:
Moderate flooding may occur along the Warrego River downstream of Charleville.
The Warrego River at Bakers Bend is currently at 5.76 metres and rising, above the minor flood level (5.00 metres).
The Warrego River at Bakers Bend may peak around 6.20 metres overnight Saturday into Sunday as flows from the Langlo River arrive, with minor flooding.
The Warrego River at Wyandra is currently at 1.31 metres and steady, well below the minor flood level (6.00 metres).
The Warrego River at Wyandra may reach the minor flood level (6.00 m) overnight Sunday into Monday, and may peak around 6.20 metres during Monday, with minor flooding.
No observations are currently available for the Warrego River at Cunnamulla Bridge. However, based on levels at the downstream weir, river levels are expected to be below the minor flood level (6.00 metres) and steady.
The Warrego River at Cunnamulla Bridge is expected to exceed the minor flood level (6.00 m) from Monday. The river level may reach the moderate flood level (7.00 m) from as early as overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Peak forecasts will be provided as upstream peaks are observed.

Recent rainfall has caused river and creek level rises across the Barcoo River catchment, with minor flooding occurring in the lower Barcoo at Retreat.
No significant rainfall totals are forecast over the weekend. However, further shower and thunderstorm activity from early in the coming week may cause further river and creek level rises.
Barcoo River downstream of Isisford:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Barcoo River downstream of Isisford.
The Barcoo River at Retreat reached a minor flood peak at 2.95 metres around 02:00 am Saturday 23 November. The river level is currently at 2.90 metres and falling, above the minor flood level (2.14 metres).
The Barcoo River at Retreat may fall below the minor flood level (2.14 m) overnight Saturday into Sunday.
