SIGNIFICANT FLOODING OCCURRING AT INNAMINCKA
FLOODWATERS ARRIVING AT SOUTH AUSTRALIA ALONG THE DIAMANTINA RIVER
River levels along the Cooper Creek at Cullyamurra Waterhole peaked early Thursday morning and are currently falling slowly, above the Feb 1974 flood level (11.85 metres). Further upstream, major flooding is continuing at Durham Downs and expected to be continuing at Nappa Merrie following major flood peaks over the last week.
The main floodwaters on the Diamantina River are arriving at South Australia. Major flooding is occurring along the Diamantina River at Birdsville near the South Australia border. The river levels are expected to remain elevated for an extended period of time.
Floodwaters may cut roads and access tracks, and in particular river crossings, impacting travel in the region.
River levels further upstream in Queensland in the Eyre Creek and Georgina River are still rising, where moderate to major flooding is occurring.
Flood Warnings are current for the Georgina River, Eyre Creek, Diamantina River and Cooper Creek in Queensland .

Warburton:
River levels along the Warburton River at Poothapoota Waterhole are around 1.14 metres and steady. Renewed river level rises and areas of flooding are possible along the Warburton River in the coming weeks.
Cooper Creek:
River levels along Cooper Creek at Cullyamurra Waterhole peaked around 13.46 metres early Thursday morning and are currently at 13.23 metres and falling slowly, above Feb 1974 flood level (11.85 metres). It is estimated that the water level at Innamincka is many metres above the causeway.
