for Adelaide Metropolitan, Mount Lofty Ranges, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Flinders, Mid North, Kangaroo Island, Riverland, Murraylands, Upper South East, Lower South East, North East Pastoral and parts of West Coast and North West Pastoral districts.

HEAVY, LOCALLY INTENSE RAINFALL ABOUT CENTRAL AND SOUTHEASTERN SA, BECOMING MORE LIKELY ABOUT THE SOUTHEAST INCLUDING ADELAIDE ON SUNDAY.
Weather Situation
A low pressure system located over southern parts of the Northern Territory is expected to begin moving slowly southwards today, crossing into north-central SA during the afternoon and evening. An extremely humid tropical airmass is wrapping around the southern flank of this low, extending into central and southern parts of the state. A trough over southern SA will interact with the tropical airmass into Sunday, increasing the risk of heavy, locally intense falls.
HEAVY, LOCALLY INTENSE RAINFALL for the following areas:
Adelaide Metropolitan, Mount Lofty Ranges, West Coast, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Flinders, Mid North, Kangaroo Island, Riverland, Murraylands, Upper South East, Lower South East, North West Pastoral and North East Pastoral
HEAVY RAINFALL which may lead to FLASH FLOODING is likely about northern and western parts of the state today, however is possible about central and southeastern parts including Adelaide. The risk of HEAVY RAINFALL is expected to increase about central and eastern parts including Adelaide on Sunday. Six hourly rainfall totals between 30 and 50 mm are possible today, increasing to 40 to 60 mm about central and southeastern parts on Sunday.
Locally INTENSE RAINFALL which may lead to DANGEROUS AND LIFE-THREATENING FLASH FLOODING is likely about northern and western parts today, however is possible in thunderstorms elsewhere. The risk will broaden to the Murraylands and Riverland districts tonight, and more broadly about central and southeastern parts including Adelaide on Sunday. Six-hourly rainfall totals between 40 to 60 mm are possible today, increasing to 60 to 100 mm on Sunday.

Locations which may be affected include Adelaide, Port Lincoln, Whyalla, Renmark, Mount Gambier and Ceduna.
41 MM WAS RECORDED AT PARNDANA IN THE 2 HOURS TO 7:15 AM.
41mm was recorded at Ceduna in the 6 hours to 9:35 am.
34 mm was recorded at Snowtown in the 3 hours to 9:24 am.
24 mm was recorded at Kingscote Airport in the 60 minutes to 6:15 am
50 mm was recorded at Minnipa in the 6 hours to 4:45 am
48 mm was recorded at Wudinna Airport in the 6 hours to 4:45 am
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water;
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains;
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
The next Severe Weather Warning will be issued by 5:00 pm ACDT Saturday.
