Cancellation Of Severe Weather Warning
for Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Flinders, Mid North, Kangaroo Island, North West Pastoral and North East Pastoral districts.
Issued at 10:24 am Sunday, 23 January 2022.
Heavy rainfall has eased this morning however renewed thunderstorm development is forecast.
An upper level low near the west coast of Eyre Peninsula is forecast to drift slowly east today. A surface trough is also expected to continue moving slowly eastward over central parts of the state with broad instability and deep tropical moisture to its east.

Severe weather is no longer occurring in South Australia. However a Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains current, please refer to the latest warnings.
The immediate threat of severe weather has passed, but the situation will continue to be monitored and further warnings will be issued if necessary.
