for parts of North West Pastoral district.

Severe thunderstorms have developed in northwestern parts of the state
Weather Situation
A trough moving through southwestern parts of the state is triggering severe thunderstorms in a moist and unstable environment. Severe thunderstorm activity will begin to ease this evening.
DAMAGING WINDS and LARGE HAILSTONES for the following areas:
North West Pastoral
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds and possible large hailstones in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Coober Pedy, Tarcoola and the area around Emu Junction.
Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the West Coast district and the warning for this district is CANCELLED.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Move cars under cover or away from trees.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
The next warning is due to be issued by 8:35 pm.
