Bush walkers are advised that snow as low as 700 metres is expected during Friday and Saturday morning. These hazardous conditions are expected to occur in parts of the Western and Central Plateau forecast districts.

The next warning will be issued by 11:00 pm EST Friday.

Strong Wind Warning for the following areas:
Derwent Estuary, Frederick Henry Bay and Norfolk Bay, Storm Bay, Channel, Upper East Coast, Lower East Coast, South West Coast and Central West Coast

Gale Warning for the following areas:
Far North West Coast, Central North Coast, Banks Strait and Franklin Sound, East of Flinders Island, Lower East Coast, South East Coast, South West Coast and Central West Coast
Strong Wind Warning for the following areas:
