Minor Flood Warning For The North Esk River

MINOR FLOODING MAY DEVELOP AT CORRA LINN DURING SUNDAY EVENING
Minor flooding may develop along the North Esk River at Corra Linn during Sunday evening.
In the 24 hours to 5:00 pm Sunday, rainfall totals of 10-35mm have been recorded in the North Esk River catchment. Up to 5 mm rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Sunday.
St Patricks River:
Flooding is no longer expected along the St Patricks River.
The St Patricks River at Nunamara Offtake is currently at 1.00 metres and steady approaching a peak below minor flood level.
The St Patricks River at Nunamara Offtake is likely to remain below the minor flood level (1.50 m) overnight Sunday into Monday.
Upper North Esk River:
River levels remain elevated along the Upper North Esk River during Sunday afternoon.
Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn:
Minor flooding may develop along the Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn.
The North Esk River at Corra Linn is currently at 2.58 metres and rising, below minor flood level.
The North Esk River at Corra Linn is likely to peak near the minor flood level (2.70 m) Sunday evening.
