Coastal Hazard Warning
for ABNORMALLY HIGH TIDES
for parts of South East Forecast District.

Weather Situation
A cold front is expected to pass over Tasmania during Saturday. Combined with spring tides, this will lead to elevated sea levels, particularly during Saturday morning's high tide.
ABNORMALLY HIGH TIDES for the following areas:
South East
ABNORMALLY HIGH TIDES which may cause minor sea water flooding of low-lying coastal areas are possible along the southeast coast. Tides are likely to rise 0.3m to 0.4m above the normal high tide mark during Saturday morning's high tide.
Locations which may be affected include Hobart, Dover and Dodges Ferry.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Supervise children closely.
* Check that family and neighbours are aware of warnings.
* Manage pets and livestock.
* Do not walk, ride or drive through flood waters.
* Be prepared in case of power outages and report any outages to TasNetworks on 132 004.
* Listen to the ABC radio or check www.ses.tas.gov.au for further advice.
* For emergency assistance contact the SES on 132500.
The next Coastal Hazard Warning will be issued by 5:00 am AEDT Saturday.
Warnings are also available through TV and Radio broadcasts, the Bureau's website at www.bom.gov.au or call 1300 659 210. The Bureau and State Emergency Service would appreciate warnings being broadcast regularly.

Winds NW 15 to 25 km/h increasing to 25 to 35 km/h in the morning then turning W 20 to 30 km/h in the early afternoon.
