Final Flood Warning For The River Derwent
Issued at 11:29 AM AEDT on Wednesday 15 October 2025

FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING AT BELOW MEADOWBANK DAM
River levels continue easing along the River Derwent, below the minor flood level at Below Meadowbank Dam.
Showers are forecast into the weekend, with small renewed river level rises below the minor flood level possible. The situation will be closely monitored, and warnings issued as required.

The Derwent River below Meadowbank Dam is currently at 2.64 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Derwent River below Meadowbank Dam is expected to remain below the minor flood level (4.10 m) during Wednesday and Thursday. With forecast rainfall, small renewed rises are possible.

Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
