Warning to Sheep Graziers for the following areas:
Wimmera, North Central, North East, South West, Central, West and South Gippsland and East Gippsland forecast districts
Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, rain and showers and southerly winds are expected during Monday. Areas likely to be affected include the North Central and East Gippsland forecast districts and parts of the Wimmera, North East, South West, Central and West and South Gippsland forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.

The Warning to Sheep Graziers for the Northern Country forecast district has been cancelled.

The next warning will be issued by 5:00 am EDT Monday.

Cancellation Of Severe Thunderstorm Warning

for Central and North Central Forecast Districts.

Issued at 11:06 pm Sunday, 26 October 2025.

Severe thunderstorms have now eased northeast of Melbourne.

Weather Situation
Isolated showers and thunderstorms still persist about the Yarra Ranges this evening, though are no longer expected to have large hailstones.

This warning is now cancelled. Other warnings may be current. Please check www.bom.gov.au/australia/warnings/.
3 cm hailstones were observed at Malmsbury around 6:30 pm.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Stay away from fallen powerlines - always assume they are live.
* Stay safe by avoiding dangerous hazards, such as floodwater, mud, debris, damaged roads and fallen trees.
* Don't walk, ride your bike or drive through flood water.

No further warnings will be issued for this event.
Warnings are also available through TV and Radio broadcasts, the Bureau's website at www.bom.gov.au or call 1300 659 210. The Bureau and State Emergency Service would appreciate warnings being broadcast regularly.
