Brown Rot Advice

for Mallee, Wimmera, Northern Country, North Central, North East, South West, Central, West and South Gippsland and East Gippsland forecast districts

Severe Brown Rot Advice for the following areas:
Mallee, Wimmera, South West, Central and West and South Gippsland forecast districts
Stone fruit growers in parts of the Mallee, Wimmera, South West, Central and West and South Gippsland forecast districts are advised that rainfall and accompanying high humidity late Saturday and during Sunday are conducive to a heavy outbreak of brown rot.
Brown Rot Advice for the following areas:
Northern Country, North Central, North East and East Gippsland forecast districts
Stone fruit growers in the Northern Country, North Central and North East forecast districts and parts of the East Gippsland forecast district are advised that rainfall and accompanying high humidity late Saturday and during Sunday may be conducive to an outbreak of brown rot.

The next warning will be issued by 11:00 pm EDT Saturday.

Fire Weather Warning

for Mallee and Wimmera fire weather districts

Weather Situation
Fresh north to northwesterly winds will combine with hot and dry conditions leading to elevated fire dangers on Saturday over western parts of the state. A milder southwesterly change reaching the west during the afternoon. Rain, showers and possible thunderstorms developing in the west from the late morning.
