Maximum temperatures in the mid thirties up to the low forties about the northern districts. Overnight minimum temperatures in the mid to high teens over northern and eastern districts, and in the low to mid teens about southern districts.

Severe heatwave conditions will contract to the northeast and ease over the weekend as milder southeast to southwesterly winds extend across the State.
