Cancellation for the following areas:
Port Phillip and Western Port
The squall warning for Port Phillip and Western Port has been cancelled.

for Central and West and South Gippsland Forecast Districts.

Issued at 5:36 pm Wednesday, 11 March 2026.

Weather Situation
A cold front is moving rapidly eastwards across central Victoria. Shower and thunderstorm activity along the front has weakened in the past hour.
cancellation of severe thunderstorm warning for the following areas:
Central and West and South Gippsland
This warning is now cancelled.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Stay away from fallen powerlines - always assume they are live.
* Stay safe by avoiding dangerous hazards, such as floodwater, mud, debris, damaged roads and fallen trees.
* Don't walk, ride your bike or drive through flood water.

No further warnings will be issued for this event.
