Final Flood Warning For The Kiewa River

FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT BANDIANA
Bandiana peaked just below the minor flood level late Thursday afternoon. The river level is expected to continue easing slowly into the weekend.
No significant rainfall is forecast over the next few days.
Kiewa River to Mongans Bridge:
River levels are easing along the Kiewa River to Mongans Bridge but remain elevated.
Kiewa River downstream of Mongans Bridge:
Minor flooding is no longer expected along the Kiewa River at Bandiana.
The Kiewa River at Bandiana peaked at 2.71 m around 4:15 pm Thursday, below the minor flood level (2.80 m). The river is currently at 2.63 m and steady.
The Kiewa River at Bandiana is expected to remain below the minor flood level (2.80 m).

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
