for parts of South Coastal and South East Coastal districts.
Issued at 4:37 pm Saturday, 21 June 2025.

Weather Situation
A low pressure system is forecast to deepen off the Albany coast today then move east to be just southeast of Esperance Sunday morning. This is expected to bring gusty gale force winds and elevated waves to parts of southern WA.
ABNORMALLY HIGH TIDES and DAMAGING SURF for the following areas:
South Coastal and South East Coastal
DAMAGING SURF CONDITIONS which may lead to coastal erosion and localised damage to coastal infrastructure is possible between Albany and Bremer Bay this evening, extending to Israelite Bay overnight and peaking between Hopetoun and Cape Le Grand Sunday morning.
Beach conditions in these areas could be DANGEROUS and people should stay well away from the surf and surf exposed areas, particularly for southwest facing coasts.
Tides are likely to rise above the normal high tide mark leading to potential flooding of low-lying coastal areas between Hopetoun and Israelite Bay Sunday morning.
These conditions are expected to ease by early afternoon Sunday.
