Minor To Moderate Flood Warning For The Warrego River (Nsw)

FLOODING PEAKING AROUND THE MODERATE FLOOD LEVEL AT FORDS BRIDGE BYWASH
Floodwaters from the Warrego River in Queensland continues to move into NSW. The first peak is at Fords Bridge Bywash, near the moderate flood level.
The second peak has passed Barringun. This peak is expected to move downstream to Fords Bridge Bywash over the coming weeks.
The flood warning has been finalised for the Warrego River in Queensland.
Warrego River (NSW):
Minor flooding is occurring along the Warrego River (NSW) at Fords Bridge Bywash.
The Warrego River at Barringun No. 2 is currently at 2.36 metres and rising slowly, below the minor flood level (2.80 m).
The Warrego River at Barringun No. 2 is expected to remain below the minor flood level (2.80 m) as upstream river level rises arrive later next week.
No river level data is available along the Warrego River at Enngonia. The river level is expected to be around 2.00 metres and rising, with minor flooding.
The Warrego River at Enngonia is likely to remain around the minor flood level (2.00 m) for the next few days.
The Warrego River at Fords Bridge Bywash peaked at 2.29 metres around 01:00 pm Saturday 21 December, and is currently at 2.29 metres and steady around a peak, near the moderate flood level (2.30 m).
The Warrego River at Fords Bridge Bywash is expected to remain around the moderate flood level (2.30 m) for the next few days. Renewed river level rises are expected late December as a second flood peak arrives.
