Final Flood Warning For The Mersey River

FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT KIMBERLEY
River levels peaked below the minor flood level early Thursday morning and flooding is no longer expected.
Mersey River - Liena to Kimberley:
Flooding is no longer expected along the Mersey River around Kimberley
The Mersey River at Kimberley is currently at 1.50 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Mersey River at Kimberley is expected to remain below the minor flood level (2.40 m).
Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
