Fire Weather Warning 

for Mallee and Wimmera fire weather districts

Issued at 04:19 PM EDT on Friday 15 November 2024

Weather Situation
Fresh northerly winds will combine with hot and dry conditions leading to elevated fire dangers on Saturday. A cooler southwesterly change will move into the west in the late evening with possible thunderstorms developing in the north at night.

For  Saturday 16 November:
Extreme Fire Danger for the following areas:
Mallee and Wimmera

The CFA advises that you:
 Action your Bushfire Survival Plan now.
 Monitor the fire and weather situation through ABC Local Radio, commercial and designated community radio stations, or Sky News TV, www.emergency.vic.gov.au and www.bom.gov.au.
 Call 000 (Triple Zero) in an emergency.
