     Cancellation of Coastal Hazard Warning 
     
     for Central West, Lower West and South West districts.
     
     Issued at 10:00 am Monday, 4 August 2025.
     
     
     Damaging Surf no longer occurring.
     
     Weather Situation
    A weak ridge extends across central WA on Monday with a west to southwesterly flow to continue across the south coast. Large and powerful waves are now decreasing over the WA coast, and are no longer expected to be damaging, while tides are relatively low.

    This warning is now cancelled. Other warnings may be current. Please check www.bom.gov.au/warnings/.
    
     
     The Department of Fire and Emergency Services advises:
     * Keep away from flooded areas and areas where coastal erosion has occurred.
     * Keep away from coastal areas including beaches, tidal rivers, creeks, cliff areas and sand dunes.
     * Beach closures may be in place. Follow the advice of local authorities.
     * Be careful of damaged buildings, fallen power lines and debris.
     * Assess your home, car and property for damage.
     * If damage has occurred take photos and contact your insurance company.
     * If your home or property has significant damage, like flooding, call the SES on 132 500.
     
     No further warnings will be issued for this event.
