MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT WEE WAA
MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT BUGILBONE FROM FRIDAY
The flood peak along the Namoi River, resulting from recent rainfall is downstream of Wee Waa where minor flooding is occurring. Further downstream, Bugilbone is likely to reach minor flood level during Thursday afternoon and may reach the moderate flood level during Friday.
Minor flooding is occurring at Goangra, where the river level is falling slowly. Renewed river level rises are expected from Thursday and will continue at least until early next week.

Namoi River:
Moderate flooding is possible along the Namoi River at Bugilbone. Minor flooding is occurring at Wee Waa and Goangra.
The Namoi River at Wee Waa (Glencoe) is currently at 5.88 m and falling, with minor flooding.
The Namoi River at Wee Waa (Glencoe) is likely to fall below the minor flood level (5.30 m) overnight Thursday into Friday.

The Namoi River at Bugilbone is currently at 4.83 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Namoi River at Bugilbone is likely to exceed the minor flood level (4.90 m) Thursday afternoon. The river may reach around the moderate flood level (5.50 m) during Friday.

The Namoi River at Goangra is currently at 5.77 m and steady, with minor flooding.
Renewed river level rises are expected from Thursday and are expected to continue at least until early next week. The river level is expected to remain between the minor flood level (5.50 m) and the moderate flood level (6.70 m) over the next few days.

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
