Initial Minor Flood Warning For The Manning River

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT TAREE AND CROKI WHARF ON FRIDAY NIGHT'S HIGH TIDE
Abnormally high tides may result in brief minor flooding along the lower Manning River at Taree and Croki Wharf at around 11:00 pm Friday night.
No significant rainfall is forecast across the Manning River catchment for the next few days.

Manning River:
Minor flooding may occur along the Manning River.
The Manning River at Taree is currently at 0.34 metres and rising with the tide, below the minor flood level (1.80 m).
The Manning River at Taree may peak near the minor flood level (1.80 m) around 11:00 pm Friday night on the high tide.

The Manning River at Croki Wharf is currently at 0.47 metres and rising with the tide, below the minor flood level (1.50 m).
The Manning River at Croki Wharf may peak near the minor flood level (1.50 m) around 11:00 pm Friday night on the high tide.

Flood Safety Advice:
In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500.
* Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place.
* Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
* Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
* Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.}

Minor Flood Warning For The Namoi River

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE ALONG THE NAMOI RIVER AT WEE WAA (GLENCOE) SATURDAY AFTERNOON
The flood peak along the Namoi River is approaching Narrabri, where the river level is likely to remain below the minor flood level. Further downstream river level rises are occurring and minor flooding is possible at Wee Waa (Glencoe) during Saturday afternoon.
No significant rainfall totals are forecast over the next few days.

Namoi River:
Minor flooding may occur along the Namoi River at Wee Waa (Glencoe).
The Narrabri Creek at Narrabri is currently at 3.52 metres and steady, below the minor flood level (4.90 m).
The Narrabri Creek at Narrabri is likely to remain below the minor flood level and peak near 3.70 metres Friday evening.

The Namoi River at Wee Waa (Glencoe) is currently at 4.36 metres and rising, below the minor flood level (5.30 m).
The Namoi River at Wee Waa (Glencoe) may peak near the minor flood level Saturday afternoon.

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE ON THE HIGH TIDE AT SETTLEMENT POINT LATE FRIDAY EVENING
The river level along the Hastings River at Settlement Point peaked just above the minor flood level Thursday evening. High tides may cause minor flooding at Settlement Point again late Friday evening and on the late evening high tides over the next few days.

Hastings River:
Minor flooding may occur along the Hastings River at Settlement Point.

The Hastings River at Settlement Point peaked at 1.22 metres with minor flooding Thursday evening and is currently at 0.63 metres and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Hastings River at Settlement Point may reach the minor flood level (1.20 m) on the high tide late Friday evening.
