for North West Slopes and Plains and Northern Tablelands Forecast Districts.

Heavy rainfall over the northern parts of the state earlier this morning has eased.
Weather Situation
A trough of low-pressure combined with exceptionally high atmospheric moisture to produce slow moving thunderstorms with heavy rainfall over northern parts of New South Wales this morning. Heavy rainfall has now eased.

North West Slopes and Plains and Northern Tablelands
This warning is now cancelled. Showers and non-severe rainfall continue over northern parts of the state this morning. Thunderstorms may redevelop over northern parts during the afternoon presenting a further risk of isolated heavy rainfall.
75.2 mm was recorded at Narrabri Airport in the 3 hours to 4:59 am.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Don't walk, ride your bike or drive through flood water.
* Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road.
