NSW Police Force, Marine Area Command advise that:
People should consider staying out of the water and avoid walking near surf-exposed areas.
Rock fishers should avoid coastal rock platforms exposed to the ocean and seek a safe location that is sheltered from the surf.
Boaters planning to cross shallow water and ocean bars should consider changing or delaying their voyage.
Boaters already on the water should carry the appropriate safety equipment and wear a lifejacket.
Boaters should remember to log on with their local Marine Rescue radio base, via VHF Radio or the Marine Rescue APP, and consider their safety management plan.

Along the Williams River at Dungog and Mill Dam Falls, river levels have fallen below the minor flood level.

Flooding has eased along the Williams River.
The Williams River at Dungog is currently at 3.76 m and falling, below the minor flood level.

The Williams River at Mill Dam Falls is currently at 5.85 m and falling, below the minor flood level.

MAJOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT GUNNEDAH
MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT TAMWORTH
Moderate to heavy rainfall has been observed in the Peel and Namoi catchment during Saturday. Rainfall has eased since early Sunday morning and flood peaks are now moving downstream.
Along the Peel River, Tamworth peaked just below the major flood level Sunday morning, where minor flooding continues during Monday morning.
Further downstream, major flooding is occurring at Gunnedah and moderate flooding is occurring at Carroll Village. Minor flooding is occurring at Glencoe Wee Waa and minor flooding is likely at Boggabri from Monday morning. Minor flooding is possible at Narrabri from Tuesday morning.
Forecasts will be refined as upstream peaks are observed.
Peel River:
Minor flooding occurring at Tamworth.
The Peel River at Tamworth is currently at 4.16 m and falling, with minor flooding.
The Peel River at Tamworth may remain above the minor flood level (3.00 m) Monday morning.
Namoi River:
Major flooding is occurring at Gunnedah. Minor flooding is occurring at Glencoe Wee Waa and is likely at Boggabri. Moderate flooding is occurring at Carroll Village. Minor flooding is possible at Narrabri.
The Namoi River at Manilla is currently at 6.06 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Namoi River at Manilla is expected to remain below the minor flood level (6.10 m).
No recent observatios are available for the Namoi River at Carroll Village, however indications are that the river is around the moderate flood level.
The Namoi River at Carroll Village may fall below the moderate flood level (8.80 m) Monday morning.
The Namoi River at Gunnedah is currently at 8.22 m and rising, with major flooding.
The Namoi River at Gunnedah may reach around 8.30 m Monday morning, with major flooding.

Along the Upper Hunter River minor flooding is easing at Denman.
Along the Wollombi Brook, minor flooding is occurring at Wollombi and is possible at Bulga from Monday morning.
Along the Lower Hunter River, moderate flooding is possible at Singleton from Monday afternoon, and minor flooding is occurring at Maitland and Raymond Terrace.
Upper Hunter:
Minor flooding is occurring along the upper Hunter River.
The Hunter River at Denman is currently at 6.86 m and falling, with minor flooding.
The Hunter River at Denman may fall below the minor flood level (6.50 m) Monday morning.
Wollombi Brook:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Wollombi Brook at Wollombi and is possible at Bulga.

MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT MENANGLE, AND POSSIBLE AT PUTTY ROAD
Moderate rainfall has been observed across the Nepean River catchment during Saturday. Rainfall has eased since early Sunday morning.
River rises have occurred along the Nepean River and Colo River. Minor flooding is nearing a peak at Menangle, and minor flooding is possible at Putty Road.
Upper Nepean River:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Nepean River at Menangle Bridge.
The Nepean River at Menangle Bridge is currently at 5.25 m and steady, with minor flooding (5.20 m).
The Nepean River at Menangle Bridge is currently nearing a peak around 5.30 m with minor flooding.
Colo River:
Minor flooding is possible along the Colo River at Putty Road.
No data is available for the Colo River at Putty Road. Based on a nearby automatic station, the river is expected to be below the minor flood level (2.70 metres), and rising.
