Warning to Sheep Graziers for the following areas:
Mid North Coast, Hunter, Northern Tablelands, Illawarra, South Coast, Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands, South West Slopes, Riverina, Lower Western, Snowy Mountains and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts
Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, rain, showers and westerly winds are expected during Sunday and Monday. Areas likely to be affected include the Central Tablelands, Southern Tablelands, South West Slopes and Snowy Mountains forecast districts and parts of the Mid North Coast, Hunter, Northern Tablelands, Illawarra, South Coast, Riverina, Lower Western and Australian Capital Territory forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.

Minor Flood Warning For The Namoi River

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT GOANGRA FROM EARLY MONDAY MORNING
Along the Namoi River at Bugilbone the river level peaked on Thursday, below the minor flood level. Further downstream, minor flooding is possible at Goangra from early Monday morning, with a minor flood peak possible during Tuesday.

Namoi River:
Minor flooding may occur along the Namoi River at Goangra.
The Namoi River at Goangra is currently at 5.40 metres and rising slowly, below the minor flood level (5.50 m).
The Namoi River at Goangra may exceed the minor flood level early Monday morning. The river level may peak near 5.60 metres during Tuesday.

Hazardous Surf Warning for New South Wales

Weather Situation
Surf and swell conditions are expected to be hazardous for coastal activities such as rock fishing, boating, and swimming in the following areas.

Warnings for Monday 09 June

Hazardous Surf Warning for the following areas:
Illawarra Coast, Batemans Coast and Eden Coast

Warnings for Tuesday 10 June

Hazardous Surf Warning for the following areas:
Hunter Coast, Sydney Coast, Illawarra Coast, Batemans Coast and Eden Coast

NSW Police Force, Marine Area Command advise that:
People should consider staying out of the water and avoid walking near surf-exposed areas.
Rock fishers should avoid coastal rock platforms exposed to the ocean and seek a safe location that is sheltered from the surf.
Boaters planning to cross shallow water and ocean bars should consider changing or delaying their voyage.
Boaters already on the water should carry the appropriate safety equipment and wear a lifejacket.
Boaters should remember to log on with their local Marine Rescue radio base, via VHF Radio or the Marine Rescue APP, and consider their safety management plan.
