Cancellation Of Severe Thunderstorm Warning
for Hunter, Metropolitan and Central Tablelands Forecast Districts.

Severe thunderstorms have eased throughout Sydney and the Central Coast.
Weather Situation
A weak southerly change has been moving north along the coast and is combining with a mid-level trough to trigger persistent showers and isolated thunderstorms this morning.

Severe thunderstorms have now eased over the area. The situation will be closely monitored and further warnings will be issued if required.

44 mm was recorded at Little Bay in the 30 minutes to 5:07 am
42 mm was recorded at Wahroonga in the 30 minutes to 3:13 am
51 mm was recorded at Allambie in the 30 minutes to 3:04 am
64 mm was recorded at Pearl Beach Reservoir in the 60 minutes to 2:27 am

* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Don't walk, ride your bike or drive through flood water.
* Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road.
