Severe Thunderstorm Warning
for Heavy Rainfall

for parts of Illawarra, Southern Tablelands and South Coast Forecast Districts.

Isolated heavy falls occurring near Nerriga this evening.

Weather Situation
A small line of thunderstorms and showers has becoming slow-moving near Nerriga, and may continue to produce heavy falls over the next couple of hours before weakening. Severe thunderstorms are rapidly easing elsewhere across the state.
HEAVY RAINFALL for the following areas:
Illawarra, South Coast and Southern Tablelands
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Nerriga.
Severe thunderstorms are no longer occurring in the Hunter, Metropolitan, Central Tablelands, North West Slopes and Plains, Central West Slopes and Plains and Snowy Mountains districts and the warning for these districts is CANCELLED.
94MM WAS RECORDED AT YALWAL (WEST OF NOWRA) IN THE 1 HOUR TO 5:40PM.
52mm was recorded at Nerriga in the 2 hours to 6:40pm.
39mm was recorded at Big Hill, Longview (NE of Goulburn) in the 2 hour to 4:17pm.

Central Tablelands,Hunter,Central West Slopes and Plains,North West Slopes and Plains,Sydney Metropolitan,Snowy Mountains
