MODERATE FLOODING EASING AT INKERMAN BRIDGE
Flooding has eased at Sellheim (Macrossan Bridge) along the Upper Burdekin River.
Moderate flooding is expected to continue easing downstream of the dam during the remainder of Thursday and into Friday.
Minor flooding is occurring along the Cape River at Taemas and Suttor River at St Anns.
Showers are forecast over parts of the catchment for the next few days, however these are not expected to result in further river level rises.
The flood situation is being closely monitored and forecasts and warnings will be updated as required.
Belyando and Suttor Rivers to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Belyando and Suttor Rivers to Burdekin Falls Dam.
The Suttor River at St Anns is currently at 5.95 metres and falling, with minor flooding.
The Suttor River at St Anns is likely to remain above the minor flood level (4.00 m) into the weekend.
Cape River to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Cape River to Burdekin Falls Dam.
The Cape River at Taemas is currently at 6.11 metres and falling, with minor flooding.
The Cape River at Taemas may fall below the minor flood level (5.00 m) overnight Thursday into Friday.

MINOR FLOODING PEAKED AT EURAMO DURING WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
MINOR FLOODING HAS EASED AT MURRAY FLATS
The Tully River at Euramo has peaked above the minor flood level during Wednesday afternoon, where minor flooding is slowly easing.
Rainfall totals up to 22 mm have been observed across the Tully and Murray River catchments in the 24 hours to 10:00 am Thursday.
Further showers are forecast over the next few days, however these are not expected to result in further significant river rises.
Tully River:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Tully River.
The Tully River at Euramo peaked at 6.95 metres around 03:00 pm Wednesday and is currently at 6.35 metres and falling, above the minor flood level (6.00 m).
The Tully River at Euramo may remain above the minor flood level (6.00 m) during Thursday into Friday.
Murray River:
Minor flooding is expected to have eased along the Murray River.
No recent observations are available for the Murray River at Murray Flats. It is estimated that the river level is below the minor flood level (7.00 m) and falling.
The Murray River at Murray Flats may remain below the minor flood level (7.00 m).

MAJOR FLOODING PEAKED AT GLENEAGLE THURSDAY MORNING
MAJOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT HALIFAX WITH RENEWED RISES EXPECTED FROM THURSDAY AFTERNOON AS UPSTREAM FLOODWATERS ARRIVE
MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT ABERGOWRIE BRIDGE, INGHAM PUMP STATION AND GAIRLOCH, WHERE RENEWED RISES ARE EXPECTED DURING THURSDAY AFTERNOON AS UPSTREAM FLOODWATERS ARRIVE
Recent significant rainfall across the Herbert River catchment has led to renewed river level rises. Renewed major flooding is occurring at Gleneagle which is expected to have peaked during Thursday morning.
Renewed river level rises are expected downstream of Gleneagle during Thursday as floodwaters move downstream. At this stage river levels are likely to peak from Thursday afternoon into Friday around a similar level to the peak levels observed during Wednesday at Abergowrie Bridge, Ingham, Gairloch and Halifax.
No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.
The flood situation is being closely monitored and forecasts and warnings will be updated as required.
Herbert River to Nash's Crossing:
Major flooding is occurring along the Herbert River to Nash's Crossing.
No recent observations are available for the Herbert River at Gleneagle, however based on the nearby automatic gauge, it is expected that the river level peaked around 12.40 m early Thursday morning above the major flood level (9.00 m) and is now beginning to ease.
The Herbert River at Gleneagle is likely to remain above the major flood level (9.00 m) overnight Thursday into Friday.
Herbert River downstream of Nash's Crossing:
Moderate to major flooding is occurring along the Herbert River downstream of Nash's Crossing.
The Herbert River at Abergowrie Bridge is currently at 11.00 metres and steady, above the moderate flood level (10.00 m).
The Herbert River at Abergowrie Bridge may reach around 11.20 metres overnight Thursday into Friday.
The Herbert River at Ingham Pump Station is currently at 11.44 metres and steady, above the moderate flood level (11.00 m)
