Weather Situation
Severe thunderstorms continue near Moreton Bay and Moreton Island, but are expected to ease in the next hour or so.

Southeast Coast

2cm hail was reported at Bribie Island at about 8:40 pm.
Emergency services advise people to:
* Never drive, walk, play or ride through floodwater. It is dangerous.
* Stay away from storm water drains.
* Stay away from fallen powerlines.
* Drive slowly and never drive through floodwaters. If the road is flooded or damaged, go another way.
* For storm help, call the SES on 132 500 or download the free SES Assistance QLD app.
No further warnings will be issued for this event.
