MINOR FLOODING HAS EASED AT EURAMO
Minor flooding occurred at Euramo during Saturday morning, with observed river levels at Euramo now below the minor flood level. River levels at Euramo are expected to continue to fall over the next few days.
Further showers and thunderstorms are forecast over the next few days, however these are not expected to result in further significant river level rises.
A Flood Watch is current for most of Queensland.
Tully River:
Minor flooding is no longer occurring along the Tully River.
The Tully River at Euramo is currently at 4.90 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Tully River at Euramo is expected to remain below the minor flood level.
Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
