MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT THEODORE WEIR, JAMBIN AND YATTON
MODERATE FLOODING LIKELY AT TAROOM AND POSSIBLE AT MOURA
Moderate to locally intense rainfall has been observed across parts of the Fitzroy River catchment over the last few days. This has resulted in rapid river and creek level rises particularly across parts of the Dawson, Connors and Isaac, Comet and Nogoa River catchments.
Major flooding is occurring along Callide Creek. Major flooding is occurring along the Dawson River at Baralaba and moderate flooding is occurring along the Dawson River at Theodore Weir. Moderate flooding is likely at Taroom Wednesday morning and Moura from Wednesday afternoon. Moderate flooding is occurring along the Isaac River, and elevated river levels are occurring across the Nogoa and Comet River catchments.
Dawson River to Theodore:
Moderate flooding occurring at Chilgerrie Hill, Theodore Weir and likely at Taroom. Minor flooding occurring at Tarana Crossing and Isla-Delusion Xing.
The Dawson River at Taroom is currently at 5.94 m and rising, with minor flooding.
The Dawson River at Taroom is likely to exceed the moderate flood level (6.00 m) Wednesday morning. The river may peak near 6.40 m late Wednesday morning, with moderate flooding.
The Dawson River at Theodore Weir is currently at 11.02 m and falling, with moderate flooding.
The Dawson River at Theodore Weir may fall below the moderate flood level (11.00 m) Wednesday morning. The river may remain above the minor flood level (8.00 m) during Wednesday.
Dawson River downstream of Theodore:
Major flooding is occurring at Baralaba, Karamea and Beckers. Moderate flooding is occurring at Knebworth.
No observations are currently available for the Dawson River at Moura. Based on the nearby automatic gauge the river level is estimated to be above the minor flood level (6.00 m) and rising.
The Dawson River at Moura may exceed the moderate flood level (11.00 m) Wednesday afternoon. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.
No observations are currently available for the Dawson River at Baralaba. However, based on the nearby gauge the river level at Baralaba is expected to be above the major flood level (9.00 m) and steady around 13.00 metres from rises due to local runoff.
Further rises are expected as upstream flows arrive and the Dawson River at Baralaba will remain above the major flood level (9.00 m) during Wednesday.
Don and Dee Rivers:
Moderate flooding is occurring at Jambin.
No observations are currently available for the Kroombit Creek at Biloela, however the river level is estimated to be below the minor flood level and falling.
The Kroombit Creek at Biloela is likely to remain below the minor flood level (2.20 m) during Wednesday.
The Callide Creek at Jambin is currently at 5.05 m and falling, with moderate flooding.
The Callide Creek at Jambin may remain above the moderate flood level (4.15 m) during Wednesday.
Comet River:
River level rises are occurring across the Comet River catchment. Major flooding is occurring at Comet Weir.
Nogoa River:
River level rises are occurring across the Nogoa River catchment. Major flooding is occurring at Valeria and Gregory Highway.
Connors and Isaac Rivers:
Moderate flooding occurring at Yatton.
The Isaac River at Yatton is currently at 10.31 m and steady, with moderate flooding,nearing a peak.
The Isaac River at Yatton is expected to remain above the moderate flood level (9.50 m) during Wednesday. A moderate flood peak is expected Wednesday morning.

MODERATE FLOODING CONTINUING ALONG THE LOWER CONDAMINE RIVER AT CHINCHILLA WEIR, MAJOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT CONDAMINE TOWNSHIP FROM THURSDAY
Recent moderate to heavy rainfall over the lower Condamine River, Charleys Creek and Myall Creek catchments has caused significant river and creek level rises. Multi flood peaks are travelling in the catchments. Major flooding is occurring along Charleys Creek upstream of Chinchilla, and likely at Chinchilla from overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Moderate to major flooding is forecast along the lower Condamine River over the next few days.
No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.
Condamine River downstream of Oakey Creek to Cotswold:
Major flooding is possible along the Lower Condamine River.
The Condamine River at Chinchilla Weir TW is currently at 8.24 m and steady, with moderate flooding after a moderate flood peak recorded late Tuesday morning.
The Condamine River at Chinchilla Weir TW is likely to remain above the moderate flood level (8.00 m) overnight Tuesday and into Wednesday, with renewed rises possible as floodwaters continue to arrive from upstream.
The Condamine River at Condamine is currently at 7.25 m and rising, with moderate flooding.
The Condamine River at Condamine may exceed the major flood level (8.00 m) from Wednesday evening. The river may peak above the major flood level (8.00 m) during the weekend. Peak forecasts will be provided as upstream flood peaks are observed.
Charleys Creek:
Major flooding is occurring along Charleys Creek upstream of Chinchilla at Burncluith Bridge, and likely at Chinchilla from overnight Tuesday and into Wednesday.
The Charleys Creek at Chinchilla is currently at 5.81 m and rising, with moderate flooding.
The Charleys Creek at Chinchilla is likely to exceed the major flood level (6.00 m) from overnight Tuesday and into Wednesday. The creek may peak near 6.80 m during Thursday 12 March, with major flooding.

MAJOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT WARKON FROM OVERNIGHT TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY AND AT SURAT FROM LATE THURSDAY
NO FURTHER FLOODING EXPECTED ALONG BUNGIL CREEK AT ROMA
Recent heavy rainfall has caused river level rises across the upper Balonne River catchment. Major flooding is possible along the Balonne River at Warkon from overnight Tuesday into Wednesday and at Surat from late Thursday, with minor flooding possible at Warroo from overnight Thursday into Friday. Significant creek level rises and flooding are also occurring along Dogwood Creek. At Roma, creek levels are now below the minor flood level with no further flooding expected along Bungil Creek.
No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.
A Flood Watch remains current for much of Queensland.
Dogwood Creek:
Significant river level rises are occurring along Dogwood Creek, with near-moderate and moderate peaks observed overnight Monday into Tuesday at Miles and Gilweir respectively. Major flooding is still rising at Pine Hill Crossing.
Balonne River to Surat:
Major flooding is possible along the Balonne River to Surat.
No observations are currently available for the Balonne River at Warkon. The river level is estimated to be above the minor flood level (7.00 m) and rising.
The Balonne River at Warkon may exceed the moderate flood level (8.00 m) during the remainder of Tuesday. The river may exceed the major flood level (9.00 m) overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Peak forecasts will be provided as upstream peaks are observed.
No observations are currently available for the Balonne River at Surat. Based on the river level at the nearby automatic station, the river level is estimated to be below the minor flood level and rising.

The Bungil Creek at Roma peaked at 5.25 m around 04:00 pm Monday 9 March, near the moderate flood level (5.45 m). The creek is currently at 4.84 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Bungil Creek at Roma will continue easing and remain below the minor flood level (4.95 m).
Balonne River downstream of Surat to Beardmore Dam:
Minor flooding is possible along the Balonne River downstream of Surat to Beardmore Dam.
The Balonne River at Warroo is currently at 2.37 m and steady, below the minor flood level.

MODERATE PEAK RECORDED AT GREGOR CREEK, NEAR MODERATE PEAK RECORDED AT WOODFORD, BOTH EASING INTO WEDNESDAY
Moderate to heavy rainfall was recorded across the Upper Brisbane and Stanley catchments during Sunday and into Monday. A moderate flood peak was observed late Monday evening along the Upper Brisbane River at Gregor Creek, and a near moderate peak was observed along the Stanley River at Woodford around the same time.
No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days and river levels will continue to ease into Wednesday.
A Flood Watch is current for most of Queensland.
Stanley River to Somerset Dam:
Minor flooding is easing along the Stanley River at Woodford.
The Stanley River at Woodford peaked at 5.84 m around 10:00 pm Monday 9 March, near the moderate flood level (6.10 m). The river is currently at 5.70 m and falling, with minor flooding.
The Stanley River at Woodford may fall below the minor flood level (5.00 m) Tuesday evening.
Brisbane River to Wivenhoe Dam:
Moderate flooding is easing along the Upper Brisbane River at Gregor Creek.
The Brisbane River at Gregor Creek peaked at 5.92 m around 10:45 pm Monday 9 March, with moderate flooding. The river is currently at 4.84 m and falling, with moderate flooding.
The Brisbane River at Gregor Creek may fall below the moderate flood level (4.50 m) Tuesday morning, and may fall below the minor flood level (3.50 m) Tuesday afternoon.
