Weather Situation
Thunderstorms have weakened, but there remains a slight chance of very isolated heavy rainfall in the next few hours with particularly slow moving storms about northeast Queensland.

This warning is now cancelled.
Emergency services advise people to:
* Never drive, walk, play or ride through floodwater. It is dangerous.
* Stay away from storm water drains.
* Stay away from fallen powerlines.
* Drive slowly and never drive through floodwaters. If the road is flooded or damaged, go another way.
