Minor Flood Warning For The Bokhara River And Final Flood Warning For The Lower Balonne River

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT HEBEL ON SUNDAY AND NO LONGER OCCURRING AT DIRRANBANDI
The main flood peak has passed the Balonne River Minor at Dirranbandi and is approaching the Bokhara River at Hebel. At Dirranbandi, river levels are now below the minor level and falling. At Hebel, river levels are slowly rising and approaching the minor flood level.
No significant rainfall is forecast across the catchment over the weekend.
Lower Balonne and Bokhara Rivers, Balonne River Minor:
Minor flooding is no longer occurring along the Balonne River Minor at Dirranbandi. Minor flooding is possible along the Bokhara River at Hebel.
The Balonne River Minor at Dirranbandi is currently at 3.26 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Balonne River Minor at Dirranbandi is expected to remain below the minor flood level (4.00 m).
The Bokhara River at Hebel is currently at 0.93 m and rising slowly, below the minor flood level.
The Bokhara River at Hebel may peak around the minor flood level (1.00 m) on Sunday.

Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
