MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT JERICHO, BARCALDINE AND RETREAT DURING SATURDAY
MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT CAMOOLA PARK, LONGREACH AND LIKELY AT STONEHENGE DURING SATURDAY
Along the Thomson River the main flood peak has passed Longreach and is approaching Bogewong. This peak is likely to cause minor flooding downstream at Stonehenge from Saturday.
The main flood peak along Jordan Creek has passed Jericho with some local run-off causing renewed river level rises. The flood peak has moved downstream into the Alice River, where moderate flooding is possible at Barcaldine over the weekend.
In the lower Barcoo River catchment, river level rises are occurring at Retreat with minor flooding. Further rises are possible as upstream inflows arrive from several tributaries.
Further rainfall is forecast across the catchment during the next few days, which may cause renewed river level rises. This situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as necessary.

Thomson River:
Minor flooding is occurring at Camoola Park and Longreach, and is likely at Stonehenge.
There are no recent observations available for the Thomson River at Camoola Park, however, the river level is expected to be above the minor flood level (2.00 m) and falling slowly.
The Thomson River at Camoola Park is likely to remain above the minor flood level (2.00 m) for the next few days. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.

The Thomson River at Longreach is currently at 3.45 m and steady, with minor flooding.
The Thomson River at Longreach is likely to remain above the minor flood level (3.30 m) during the next few days. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.

No observations are currently available for the Thomson River at Stonehenge. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, the river level at Stonehenge is likely to be below the minor flood level and rising.
The Thomson River at Stonehenge is likely to reach around the minor flood level (2.00 m) during Saturday. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.

Barcoo River to Isisford:
Moderate flooding is possible along the Jordan Creek and Alice River.
No observations are currently available for the Jordan Creek at Jericho. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, the river level at Jericho is estimated to be around the minor flood level and rising.
The Jordan Creek at Jericho may reach around the moderate flood level (2.30 m) during Saturday.

MAJOR PEAK APPROACHING MARION DOWNS
MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT BEDOURIE FROM EARLY NEXT WEEK
A major flood peak is approaching Marion Downs along the Georgina River. As this peak travels downstream, moderate flooding may develop along the Eyre Creek at Bedourie from early next week.
Further downstream at Glengyle, minor flooding is expected to continue into early next week, with further rises likely as upstream flows arrive.
Further rainfall is forecast across parts of the upper Georgina catchments over the coming days. This rainfall may result in further river and creek level rises. This situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.
A Flood Watch is current for the Gulf Country and parts of the Cape York Peninsula.

Georgina River to Marion Downs:
Major flooding is occurring along the Georgina River at Marion Downs.
The Georgina River at Marion Downs is currently at 5.35 m and steady, approaching its peak with major flooding.
The Georgina River at Marion Downs is likely to remain above the major flood level (5.00 m) though the weekend into next week.

Georgina River downstream of Marion Downs:
Elevated river levels are expected to be occurring along the Georgina River downstream of Marion Downs, with further rises expected for the next few days.
Eyre Creek:
Moderate flooding is possible along Eyre Creek.
The Eyre Creek at Bedourie is currently at 3.77 m and steady, with minor flooding.
The Eyre Creek at Bedourie may exceed the moderate flood level (4.00 m) early next week.

As at Wednesday 09:00 am AEST, Eyre Creek at Glengyle was at 2.60 m and rising slowly, with minor flooding.

MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT WINTON OVERNIGHT FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY
FLOODING CONTINUES AT DIAMANTINA LAKES
Recent heavy rainfall has caused river level rises and flooding across the Diamantina River catchment and its upper tributaries, including the Western River catchment. Moderate flooding is possible at Winton overnight Friday into Saturday. Further downstream, moderate flooding is occurring along the Diamantina River at Diamantina Lakes. River levels are above the causeway and easing slowly, as the peak continues to move downstream.
Further rainfall is forecast across parts of the Diamantina River catchment during the next few days. This rainfall may result in further river and creek level rises. This situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.
A Flood Watch is current for the Gulf Country and the Cape York Peninsula.

Diamantina River to Diamantina Lakes:
The Diamantina River at Diamantina Lakes is at 5.33 m and easing slowly, above the level of the Springvale Diamantina Lakes Road Causeway (2.10 m).
Western River:
Moderate flooding may occur along the Western River.
There are no current observations for the Western River at Winton.
The Western River at Winton is likely to exceed the minor flood level (1.50 m) Friday afternoon. The river may exceed the moderate flood level (2.00 m) overnight Friday into Saturday.

Diamantina River downstream of Diamantina Lakes:
River level rises are occurring along the lower Diamantina River downstream of Diamantina Lakes.
