MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT HUNGERFORD, RENEWED RISES LIKELY FROM MONDAY
Minor flooding peaked along the Paroo River at Hungerford on Wednesday. Another flood peak is around Cairwarro where renewed rises and minor flooding is occurring, which is likely to cause renewed rises and minor flooding further downstream at Hungerford from Monday.
Further rainfall is forecast across the catchment during the next few days, which may lead to additional river level rises.
A Minor Flood Warning is current for the Paroo River in NSW.

Minor flooding is occurring at Hungerford.
The Paroo River at Hungerford is currently at 1.01 m and steady, with minor flooding.
The Paroo River at Hungerford is likely to remain around the minor flood level (1.00 m) during Sunday and into early Monday. Renewed rises are likely from Monday as flows arrive from upstream. The river may reach around 1.30 m during Tuesday, with minor flooding.

MINOR FLOODING CONTINUING AT WILLARA CROSSING
MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT WANAARING FROM EARLY NEXT WEEK
Along the Paroo River, the latest flood peak is currently arriving at Caiwarro in Queensland, which is likely to cause renewed river level rises at Willara Crossing. River levels at Wanaaring are also elevated where minor flooding is possible from early next week.
Further rainfall is possible across the catchment over the next few days, which may lead to further river level rises.
A minor flood warning is current for the Paroo River in Queensland.

Paroo River (NSW):
Minor flooding is occurring at Willara Crossing, and may develop at Wanaaring from early next week.

The Paroo River at Willara Crossing is currently at 1.29 m and steady, with minor flooding. Renewed river level rises are expected at Willara Crossing.
The Paroo River at Willara Crossing may reach around 1.60 m later in the week, with minor flooding.

The Paroo River at Wanaaring is currently at 2.24 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Paroo River at Wanaaring may reach around the minor flood level (2.40 m) early next week. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.

MAJOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT JUNDAH AND WINDORAH FROM MONDAY
MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT CAMOOLA PARK, LONGREACH, AND POSSIBLE AT STONEHENGE, RETREAT FROM SUNDAY EVENING
Multiple flood peaks are currently moving through the Thomson River, where a renewed moderate flood peak is occurring at Longreach. Further downstream at Stonehenge, river levels are steady around the moderate flood level, further river level rises are possible over the next few days. As these flows continue to move downstream, major flooding is possible at Jundah around Tuesday.
Along the Barcoo River, the main peak is approaching Retreat, where minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is possible from Sunday evening.
Along the Cooper Creek, renewed moderate flooding is occurring at Windorah (Main Channel) and major flooding is possible from Monday. Further rises are likely as upstream flows arrive from the Thomson and Barcoo Rivers.
Peak forecasts will be refined as upstream peaks are observed.
In the lower Cooper Creek catchment, moderate to heavy rainfall was recorded in the last few days which has caused minor to moderate flooding along the lower Cooper Creek and its tributaries.

Thomson River:
Minor to moderate flooding is occurring along the Thomson River and its tributaries, with major flooding possible at Jundah.
The Thomson River at Camoola Park is was 4.45 m at 6:00 am Saturday and steady, with moderate flooding.
The Thomson River at Camoola Park is likely to remain above the moderate flood level (4.00 m) for the next few days. Renewed rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.

The Thomson River at Longreach is currently around a peak at 4.99 m and steady, with moderate flooding.
The Thomson River at Longreach is likely to remain above the moderate flood level (4.30 m) for the next few days.

No observations are currently available for the Thomson River at Stonehenge. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, the river level is estimated to be just below the moderate flood level (3.00 m) and steady.
The Thomson River at Stonehenge may exceed the moderate flood level (3.00 m) overnight Sunday into Monday. The river may reach around 3.60 m during Tuesday, with moderate flooding.

The Thomson River at Jundah was 3.99 m at 10:00 am Sunday and steady, with moderate flooding.
The Thomson River at Jundah may remain around the moderate flood level (4.00 m) during Sunday. The river may reach around the major flood level (5.00 m) during Tuesday. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.

Barcoo River downstream of Isisford:
Moderate flooding is possible along the Barcoo River at Retreat.

Cooper Creek:
Major flooding is possible along the Cooper Creek at Windorah. Minor flooding is occurring at Noccundra.

The Cooper Creek at Windorah may exceed the major flood level (5.00 m) Monday evening. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.

Moderate Flood Warning For The Bulloo River

MODERATE FLOODING CONTINUING AT THARGOMINDAH
Floodwater from recent rainfall continues to move along the lower Bulloo River. The main flood peak passed Thargomindah on Saturday morning, and moderate flooding is expected to continue along the Bulloo River at Thargomindah for the next few days. Further upstream, river levels remain below the minor level at Quilpie.
Further showers and storms are possible over the next few days, which may result in further river level rises along the Bulloo River.

Bulloo River downstream of Quilpie:
Moderate flooding is continuing at Thargomindah. Minor flooding has eased at Autumnvale.
The Bulloo River at Thargomindah peaked at 4.82 m on Saturday morning, with moderate flooding. The river is currently at 4.75 m and falling, with moderate flooding.
The Bulloo River at Thargomindah is expected to remain above the moderate flood level (4.50 m) for the next few days.
