FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT KAMERUNGA BRIDGE
Moderate to heavy rainfall in the Barron River catchment over the weekend caused creek and river level rises. The Barron River at Kamerunga Bridge peaked slightly below the minor flood level Sunday afternoon.
Further rainfall is forecast later this week which may cause renewed river level rises. The situation is being closely monitored and warnings will be issued as required.

Barron River downstream of Barron Falls:
Flooding is no longer expected at Kamerunga Bridge.
The Barron River at Kamerunga Bridge is currently at 2.31 m AHD and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Barron River at Kamerunga Bridge is expected to remain below the minor flood level (5.00 m AHD).

MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT DAINTREE VILLAGE
ELEVATED RIVER LEVELS OCCURRING ALONG THE BLOOMFIELD AND MOSSMAN RIVERS
The Daintree River at Daintree Village fell below the moderate flood level Sunday evening, with minor flooding continuing. River levels are currently elevated along the Bloomfield River at China Camp.
Further rainfall is forecast later this week, which may cause renewed river level rises. The situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.

Daintree River:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Daintree River at Daintree Village. River levels are currently elevated along the Bloomfield River.
The Daintree River at Daintree Village peaked at 7.25 m around 01:15 pm Sunday 15 March, with moderate flooding. The river is currently at 4.55 m and falling, with minor flooding.
The Daintree River at Daintree Village may fall below the minor flood level (4.00 m) Monday afternoon.

Mossman River:
River levels are currently elevated along the Mossman River.

MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT PEETS BRIDGE AND GORDONVALE
Heavy rainfall since Saturday evening has caused rapid river level rises across the Mulgrave River catchment. The Mulgrave River at Peets Bridge peaked above the minor flood level early Sunday morning, with river levels now easing. At Gordonvale, river level is likely to peak late Sunday morning, with minor flooding.
River levels are elevated along the Russell River with minor flooding occurring at Bucklands and near minor at Clyde Rd.
Further showers and possible thunderstorms are forecast for the remainder of Sunday which may cause renewed river level rises. The situation is being monitored and this warning will be updated as required.

Mulgrave River:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Mulgrave River.
The Mulgrave River at Peets Bridge peaked at 6.80 m around 05:20 am Sunday, with minor flooding. The Mulgrave River at Peets Bridge is currently at 6.71 m and falling, with minor flooding.
The Mulgrave River at Peets Bridge may fall below the minor flood level (5.00 m) Sunday afternoon.

The Mulgrave River at Gordonvale is currently at 13.10 m and steady, above the minor flood level (12.00 m).
The Mulgrave River at Gordonvale may peak near 13.30 m around late Sunday morning, with minor flooding.

Russell River:
River levels are elevated along the Russell River, with minor flooding occurring at Bucklands and near minor at Clyde Rd. Further river level rises are possible with forecast rainfall.

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT ST ANNS AROUND MONDAY
Moderate to heavy rainfall earlier this week over parts of the Belyando and Suttor River catchments caused river level rises in the upper catchment. Minor flooding is possible along the Suttor River at St Anns from Monday, 16 March as upstream flows arrive.

Belyando and Suttor Rivers to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Minor flooding is possible along the Suttor River.
The Suttor River at St Anns is currently at 2.25 m and rising slowly, below the minor flood level.
The Suttor River at St Anns may exceed the minor flood level (4.00 m) during Monday 16 March. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.
