MINOR FLOODING LIKELY AT DAINTREE VILLAGE SATURDAY AFTERNOON
Moderate to heavy rain overnight Friday into Saturday morning has caused river level rises along the Daintree and Mossman Rivers. Minor flooding is likely at Daintree Village from Saturday afternoon.
Further showers and thunderstorms are forecast for the remainder of Saturday and into Sunday. The situations is being monitored.

Daintree River:
Minor flooding is likely at Daintree Village.
The Daintree River at Daintree Village is currently at 3.95 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Daintree River at Daintree Village is likely to exceed the minor flood level (4.00 m) Saturday afternoon. The river may remain above the minor flood level (4.00 m) overnight Saturday into Sunday. Further rises are possible with forecast rain.

Mossman River:
River levels are falling along the Mossman River.

Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
Check the ABC and local media for updates. The situation can change quickly, so stay informed.

MINOR FLOODING LIKELY AT EURAMO LATE SATURDAY MORNING
Moderate to heavy rain overnight Friday into Saturday morning has caused river level rises along the Tully River. Minor flooding is likely at Euramo later Saturday morning, with further rises possible.

Tully River:
Minor flooding is likely along the Tully River.
The Tully River at Euramo is currently at 5.50 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Tully River at Euramo is likely to exceed the minor flood level (6.00 m) late Saturday morning. The river may reach around 7.20 m Saturday evening, with minor flooding. Further rises are possible with forecast rain.
