RENEWED MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT ST ANNS
The river level is currently near the minor flood level and falling along the Suttor River at St Anns. Small renewed rises are possible and the river level may remain around the minor level into Wednesday.

Belyando and Suttor Rivers to Burdekin Falls Dam:
River levels have fallen just below the minor flood level at St Anns. Renewed rises to minor flood level possible.
The Suttor River at St Anns is currently at 3.88 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Suttor River at St Anns may remain around the minor flood level (4.00 m) into Wednesday.

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.

Moderate Flood Warning For The Herbert River

MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT HALIFAX FROM TUESDAY MORNING
MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT GLENEAGLE, ABERGOWRIE BRIDGE AND HALIFAX
Rainfall since Sunday across the Herbert River catchment is causing river level rises across the catchment. Minor flooding is occurring at Halifax, with rises above the moderate flood level possible from Tuesday morning. Minor flooding is occurring at Gleneagle and Abergowrie Bridge, and may continue for the remainder of Tuesday and into Wednesday.
Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Tuesday and into Wednesday, which may lead to further river level rises and additional flooding across the catchment. This warning will be updated as required.

Herbert River to Nash's Crossing:
Minor flooding is occurring at Gleneagle.
No observations are currently available for the Herbert River at Gleneagle Homestead. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, the river level is expected to be above the minor flood level and rising.
The Herbert River at Gleneagle Homestead may remain above the minor flood level (4.50 m) for the remainder of Tuesday and into Wednesday.

Herbert River downstream of Nash's Crossing:
Moderate flooding is possible at Halifax. Minor flooding is occurring at Abergowrie Bridge and Halifax.
The Herbert River at Abergowrie Bridge is currently at 6.22 m and rising, with minor flooding.
The Herbert River at Abergowrie Bridge may remain above the minor flood level (6.00 m) for the remainder of Tuesday and into Wednesday.

The Herbert River at Halifax is currently at 4.26 m and rising, with minor flooding.
The Herbert River at Halifax may exceed the moderate flood level (4.50 m) Tuesday morning. Further rises are possible with forecast rain.
