Weather Situation
Slow moving clusters of thunderstorms embedded in broader rain areas are continuing across parts of the state in a very moist airmass.
cancellation of severe thunderstorm warning for the following areas:
Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders, North West and Central West
This warning is now cancelled, though thunderstorms are still occurring and further warnings remain possible.
75 mm was at Cloncurry Airport in the 1 hour to 1:24 am.
Emergency services advise people to:
* Never drive, walk, play or ride through floodwater. It is dangerous.
* Stay away from storm water drains.
* Stay away from fallen powerlines.
* Drive slowly and never drive through floodwaters. If the road is flooded or damaged, go another way.

No further warnings will be issued for this event.
