MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT ST ANNS WITH MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE THURSDAY AFTERNOON
Moderate to heavy rainfall has been observed across parts of the Burdekin River catchment since Saturday evening, with particularly heavy falls over parts of the Belyando and Suttor River catchments.
Along the Suttor River at St Anns, minor flooding is occurring, with further rises and moderate flooding possible from Thursday afternoon.
Further rainfall is forecast across parts of the Burdekin River catchment this week as Ex-Tropical Cyclone Koji moves towards the northwest of Queensland. This rainfall may result in further river and creek level rises. This situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.
Belyando and Suttor Rivers to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Moderate flooding is possible along the Suttor River.
The Suttor River at St Anns is currently at 5.84 m and rising, with minor flooding.
The Suttor River at St Anns may exceed the moderate flood level (6.50 m) Thursday afternoon. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive and with forecast rain.

MAJOR FLOODING ESTIMATED TO BE FALLING SLOWLY AT WALKERS BEND
MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT CLONCURRY AND RICHMOND FROM THURSDAY MORNING
Inflows from multiple tributaries are causing major flooding at Walkers Bend, where the river level is estimated to be falling slowly.
Along the Flinders River at Richmond and along the Cloncurry River at Cloncurry, rainfall observed during Wednesday and into Thursday may cause minor flooding from Thursday morning.
Further rainfall is forecast this week, with the remnants of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Koji forecast to move into northwest Queensland, lingering until later this week. This is likely to result in further river level rises in the upper Flinders and Cloncurry catchment over the coming days.
This situation is being closely monitored, and warnings will be updated as required.
A Flood Watch is current for the Gulf Country and parts of Western Queensland and the Cape York Peninsula, which includes the Flinders and Cloncurry catchments.
Flinders River to Richmond:
Minor flooding is possible at Richmond.
No observations are currently available for the Flinders River at Richmond Post Office. The river level is estimated to be below the minor flood level and rising.
The Flinders River at Richmond Post Office may exceed the minor flood level (5.00 m) Thursday morning. Further rises are possible.
Flinders River downstream of Richmond:
Major flooding is estimated to be occurring along the Flinders River downstream of Richmond.
River level observations are unavailable for the Flinders River at Walkers Bend. The river level is estimated to be well above the major flood level (8.00 m) and falling slowly.
The Flinders River at Walkers Bend is expected to remain above the major flood level until at least the end of the week.
Cloncurry River:
Minor flooding is possible at Cloncurry.
The Cloncurry River at Cloncurry is currently at 2.89 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Cloncurry River at Cloncurry may reach near the minor flood level (3.00 m) Thursday morning. Further rises are possible with forecast rainfall.

MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT CAMOOLA PARK, LONGREACH, JERICHO AND POSSIBLE AT STONEHENGE AND BARCALDINE
Rainfall over recent days and weeks has caused river level rises across the upper Thomson River catchment. Minor flooding is occurring at Camoola Park and Longreach. Minor flooding is possible at Stonehenge from early Friday as upstream floodwaters arrive.
Heavy rainfall was recorded across the Jordan Creek and Alice River catchments overnight Monday and into Tuesday, causing minor flooding at Jericho. As these floodwaters move downstream, minor flooding is possible at Barcaldine from Thursday.
Further rainfall is forecast this week, with the remnants of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Koji forecast to move into northwest Queensland from today, lingering until late this week. This is likely to result in renewed river level rises and flooding. This situation is being closely monitored, and warnings will be updated as required.

Recent heavy rainfall has caused river level rises and flooding across the Diamantina River catchment and its upper tributaries.
Moderate flooding is occurring at Diamantina Lakes, where a major flood peak was observed during Sunday morning. This peak is continuing to move downstream along the Diamantina River.
Further rainfall is forecast across parts of the Diamantina River catchment from this week as Ex-Tropical Cyclone Koji moves towards northwest Queensland.
