MAJOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT JUNDAH AND WINDORAH FROM MONDAY
MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT CAMOOLA PARK, LONGREACH, AND POSSIBLE AT STONEHENGE, RETREAT FROM SUNDAY EVENING
Multiple flood peaks are currently moving through the Thomson River, where a renewed moderate flood peak is occurring at Longreach. Further downstream at Stonehenge, river levels are steady around the moderate flood level, further river level rises are possible over the next few days. As these flows continue to move downstream, major flooding is possible at Jundah around Tuesday.
Along the Barcoo River, the main peak is approaching Retreat, where minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is possible from Sunday evening.
Along the Cooper Creek, renewed moderate flooding is occurring at Windorah (Main Channel) and major flooding is possible from Monday. Further rises are likely as upstream flows arrive from the Thomson and Barcoo Rivers.
Peak forecasts will be refined as upstream peaks are observed.
In the lower Cooper Creek catchment, moderate to heavy rainfall was recorded in the last few days which has caused minor to moderate flooding along the lower Cooper Creek and its tributaries.
Thomson River:
Minor to moderate flooding is occurring along the Thomson River and its tributaries, with major flooding possible at Jundah.
The Thomson River at Camoola Park is was 4.45 m at 6:00 am Saturday and steady, with moderate flooding.
The Thomson River at Camoola Park is likely to remain above the moderate flood level (4.00 m) for the next few days. Renewed rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.
The Thomson River at Longreach is currently around a peak at 4.99 m and steady, with moderate flooding.
The Thomson River at Longreach is likely to remain above the moderate flood level (4.30 m) for the next few days.

RAPID RIVER AND CREEK LEVEL RISES AND FLOODING OCCURRING IN THE LOWER DIAMANTINA CATCHMENT
Significant rainfall has been observed across the Diamantina catchment during the last few days that has resulted in rapid river level rises. Elevated river levels are occurring downstream of Diamantina Lakes, with moderate flooding occurring at Birdsville. Further rises are expected at Birdsville as upstream flows arrive.
Diamantina River to Diamantina Lakes:
The Diamantina River at Diamantina Lakes is currently at 5.52 m and rising, above the moderate flood level (4.00 m) and well above the Springvale Diamantina Lakes Road Causeway level (2.10 m).
Western River:
Minor flooding is easing along the Western River at Winton.
The Western River at Winton is currently at 1.50 m and falling, with minor flooding.
The Western River at Winton is likely to fall below the minor flood level (1.50 m) during Sunday.
Diamantina River downstream of Diamantina Lakes:
Moderate flooding is occurring at Roseberth and Birdsville. Minor flooding is occurring at Monkira. Rapid river level rises are occurring along the Diamantina River downstream of Roseberth as upstream flows arrive.

MODERATE FLOODING CONTINUING AT THARGOMINDAH
Floodwater from recent rainfall continues to move along the lower Bulloo River. The main flood peak passed Thargomindah on Saturday morning, and moderate flooding is expected to continue along the Bulloo River at Thargomindah for the next few days. Further upstream, river levels remain below the minor level at Quilpie.
Further showers and storms are possible over the next few days, which may result in further river level rises along the Bulloo River.
Bulloo River downstream of Quilpie:
Moderate flooding is continuing at Thargomindah. Minor flooding has eased at Autumnvale.
The Bulloo River at Thargomindah peaked at 4.82 m on Saturday morning, with moderate flooding. The river is currently at 4.75 m and falling, with moderate flooding.

Moderate rainfall during the last few weeks over the upper Flinders catchment has caused persistent major flooding in the upper Flinders River. Major flooding is expected to be continuing along the Flinders River at Richmond Post Office, where river levels may remain around the major flood level for the remainder of Friday.
The main flood peak along the Flinders River continues to approach Etta Plains. The flood peak along the Cloncurry River is around Canobie, upstream of the junction with the Flinders River.
River levels are rising along the lower Flinders River at Walkers Bend, where major flooding is likely from around Sunday as flood waters from both the Cloncurry and Flinders rivers arrive.
Renewed river level rises are occurring along the upper Cloncurry River, with minor flooding possible at Cloncurry overnight Friday into Saturday.
Flinders River to Richmond:
Major flooding is expected to be continuing along the Flinders River at Richmond.
No observations are currently available for the Flinders River at Richmond Post Office. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, the river level is estimated to be near the major flood level (8.00 m) and steady.
The Flinders River at Richmond Post Office may remain around the major flood level (8.00 m) during the remainder of Friday.
Flinders River downstream of Richmond:
Elevated river levels are occurring along the Flinders River downstream of Richmond. Major flooding is likely at Walkers Bend.
