The main flood peak along the Paroo River in Queensland is currently passing through Hungerford, where minor flooding is occurring.
Further rainfall is forecast across the catchment during the next few days, which may lead to additional river level rises.
A minor flood warning is current for the Paroo River in NSW.
Paroo River downstream of Eulo:
Minor flooding is occurring at Hungerford.
At 6:00 am Thursday the Paroo River at Hungerford was at 1.26 m and peaking, with minor flooding.
The Paroo River at Hungerford is expected to remain above the minor flood level (1.00 m) during the next few days.

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT WANAARING FROM FRIDAY EVENING
Minor flooding continuing at Willara Crossing. Local heavy rainfall across the Paroo River catchment (NSW) combined with upstream flows have caused significant river level rises at Wanaaring.
Further heavy rainfall is forecast across the catchment during the remainder of Thursday, which may lead to further river level rises. This situation is being monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.
A minor flood warning is current for the Paroo River in Queensland.
Paroo River (NSW):
Minor flooding is occurring at Willara Crossing, and possible at Wanaaring.
The Paroo River at Willara Crossing is currently at 1.34 m and rising, with minor flooding.
The Paroo River at Willara Crossing is likely to reach 1.50 m around Saturday, with minor flooding.
The Paroo River at Wanaaring is currently at 2.30 m and steady, below the minor flood level.

MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT CAMOOLA PARK AND LONGREACH AND POSSIBLE AT STONEHENGE, JUNDAH, RETREAT AND WINDORAH FROM THURSDAY AFTERNOON
Multiple flood peaks are currently moving through the Thomson River. Following a moderate flood peak on Monday morning, renewed rises are occurring at Camoola Park. An initial flood peak has passed Longreach, where moderate flooding is occurring. Further downstream, Stonehenge has peaked around the moderate flood level Wednesday morning and river levels are falling slowly, however renewed rises are likely over the coming days as upstream flows arrive. As these flows continue to move downstream, rises are occurring at Jundah where moderate flooding is likely Thursday afternoon, with further rises likely as flows continue to arrive.
Along the Barcoo River, the main peak is now downstream of Wahroongha and approaching Glenlock. As these flows move downstream, renewed river level rises are likely at Retreat, and moderate flooding is possible from the weekend.
Along the Cooper Creek, minor flooding is occurring at Windorah (Main Channel). Renewed river level rises are occurring and moderate flooding is possible from overnight Thursday into Friday. Further rises are likely into March as upstream flows arrive from the Thomson and Barcoo Rivers.
Peak forecasts will be refined as upstream peaks are observed.
Thomson River:
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Thomson River at Camoola Park, Longreach, and Bogewong, and likely at Stonehenge and Jundah. Minor flooding is occurring at Muttaburra.
The Thomson River at Camoola Park is currently at 4.50 m and rising, with moderate flooding.
The Thomson River at Camoola Park is likely to remain above the moderate flood level (4.00 m) for the next few days. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.
The Thomson River at Longreach peaked at 4.98 m around Wednesday morning, with moderate flooding. The river is currently at 4.91 m and falling slowly, with moderate flooding.
The Thomson River at Longreach is likely to remain above the moderate flood level (4.30 m) for the next few days. Renewed rises are likely over the coming days as upstream flows arrive.
No observations are currently available for the Thomson River at Stonehenge. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, it is estimated that the Thomson River at Stonehenge had a peak around the moderate flood level (3.00 m) Wednesday morning. The river level is estimated to be above the minor flood level (2.00 m) and falling slowly.
Renewed river level rises are likely along the Thomson River at Stonehenge, where renewed moderate flooding is possible from Friday. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.

Moderate flooding is possible along the Barcoo River at Retreat. Minor flooding is occurring at Wahroongha.
