MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT BLACKALL, CAMOOLA PARK, AND ISISFORD
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Barcoo River at Retreat, following a peak early Tuesday morning. Further downstream along the Cooper Creek at Windorah, river level rises have been observed and moderate flooding may develop overnight Tuesday into Wednesday as upstream flows arrive.
In the upper Barcoo River, minor flooding is occurring at Blackall. Further downstream, river level rises and minor flooding are occurring at Isisford. Further river level rises are likely over the coming days as upstream flows arrive.
Along the Thomson River, minor flooding is occurring at Camoola Park. Further downstream, river levels are estimated to have peaked below the minor flood level at Stonehenge. However, renewed rises are likely over the coming days as upstream flows arrive from Camoola Park.
Rainfall and showers are possible over parts of the catchment over the next few days. This warning will be updated as required.
Thomson River:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Thomson River at Camoola Park and at Bogewong.
The Thomson River at Camoola Park is currently at 2.60 m and rising, with minor flooding.
The Thomson River at Camoola Park may remain above the minor flood level (2.00 m) for the next few days.
No observations are currently available for the Thomson River at Stonehenge. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, the river is estimated to have peaked below the minor flood level (2.00 m).
The Thomson River at Stonehenge is likely to remain below the minor flood level (2.00 m) for the remainder of Tuesday and during Wednesday.
Barcoo River to Isisford:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Barcoo River upstream of Isisford.
No observations are currently available for the Barcoo River at Blackall. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, the river is expected to have peaked above the minor flood level and is falling slowly.
The Barcoo River at Blackall is likely to remain above the minor flood level (2.00 m) for the remainder of Tuesday into Wednesday.

Recent moderate to heavy rainfall across the Dawson River catchment has caused rises in river and creek levels. Along the Upper Dawson River, the flood peak is now approaching Glebe Weir. Further downstream at Baralaba, minor flooding is expected to be occurring.
Rainfall has eased, however, the situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.
Dawson River to Theodore:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Dawson River to Theodore.
The Dawson River at Taroom is currently at 4.67 m and steady, with minor flooding.
The Dawson River at Taroom is likely to remain above the minor flood level (4.50 m) during Tuesday into Wednesday. Renewed rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.
Dawson River downstream of Theodore:
Minor flooding is expected to be occurring along the Dawson River downstream of Theodore.

Recent localised heavy rainfall over parts of the upper Bulloo River catchment has caused river level rises at Milroy. Downstream, moderate flooding is occurring at Quilpie. Further downstream at Thargomindah, minor flooding is possible from late Thursday as upstream flows arrive.

Moderate flooding is occurring along the Bulloo River at Quilpie.
The Bulloo River at Quilpie is currently at 4.01 m and rising, with moderate flooding.
The river level may peak near 4.10 metres during Wednesday, with moderate flooding.

Minor flooding is possible along the Bulloo River downstream of Quilpie.

MAJOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT WINTON FROM WEDNESDAY
MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT BIRDSVILLE FROM WEDNESDAY
Heavy rainfall has been observed across the eastern part of the Western River catchment during the weekend which has led to rapid river level rises along the upper reaches of the Western River and its tributaries. At Winton, moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is possible from Wednesday, with river levels upstream at Oondooroo is similar to those observed in mid-January. River levels at Oondooroo are falling with minor flooding.
River levels remain elevated along the lower Diamantina River, where the main flood peak is passing through Roseberth and slowly approaching Birdsville. A flood peak around the minor flood level is possible at Birdsville from Wednesday.
Minor flooding is occurring along the Diamantina River at Diamantina Lakes.
Areas of showers and rainfall are possible over parts of the catchment for the next few days which may cause further river level rises in some areas. This warning will be updated as required.
Diamantina River to Diamantina Lakes:
The Diamantina River at Diamantina Lakes is currently at 3.56 m and rising, above the minor flood level (2.00 m) and above the level of the Springvale Diamantina Lakes Road Causeway (2.10 m).
Western River:
Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is possible along the Western River.
The Western River at Winton is currently at 2.20 m and rising, with moderate flooding.
The Western River at Winton may reach around the major flood level (3.50 m) from Wednesday. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.
Diamantina River downstream of Diamantina Lakes:
Minor flooding is occurring at Roseberth. Minor flooding is possible at Birdsville.
The Diamantina River at Birdsville Police Station is currently at 3.75 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
