MINOR FLOODING CONTINUING AT WILLARA CROSSING
RENEWED MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT WANAARING FROM EARLY NEXT WEEK
Along the Paroo River, the flood peak is moving downstream from Hungerford in Queensland, which is likely to cause renewed river level rises at Willara Crossing from early next week. River levels at Wanaaring are also elevated, where minor flooding is possible from early next week,
A Minor Flood Warning is current for the Paroo River in Queensland.
Paroo River (NSW):
Minor flooding is occurring at Willara Crossing, and may develop at Wanaaring from early next week.
The Paroo River at Willara Crossing is currently at 1.48 m and steady, above the minor flood level (0.7 m) with minor flooding.
The Paroo River at Willara Crossing may peak near 1.60 m during Saturday. Further rises are possible from early next week as upstream flows arrive.
The Paroo River at Wanaaring was at 2.36 m around 05:00 pm Thursday, below the minor flood level (2.40 m).
The Paroo River at Wanaaring is likely to remain below the minor flood level (2.40 m) during weekend. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.

Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
