MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT BOWEN PUMP STATION
Moderate rainfall was recorded in the Don River Catchment overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. River level rises are occurring with a minor flood peak expected at Bowen Pump Station on Wednesday afternoon. Further rises are possible with forecast rainfall.

Don River:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Don River at Bowen Pump Station.
The Don River at Bowen Pump Station is currently at 3.30 m and rising, with minor flooding.
The Don River at Bowen Pump Station is likely to peak around 3.70 m during Wednesday afternoon, with minor flooding. The river may remain above the minor flood level (2.50 m) into early Thursday.

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.

Minor Flood Warning For The Pioneer River

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT MIRANI WEDNESDAY MORNING
Heavy rainfall observed over the Pioneer River catchment overnight Tuesday into Wednesday has caused river level rises across the catchment. Along the Pioneer River at Mirani, minor flooding is possible Wednesday morning. River levels are elevated and flooding is also occurring along Cattle Creek.

Pioneer River:
Minor flooding is possible at Mirani. Minor flooding is occurring at Finch Hatton Showground, Senninis Road, Gargett and likely at Mirani Township.

No observations are currently available for the Pioneer River at Mirani.
The Pioneer River at Mirani may reach around the minor flood level (6.00 m) Wednesday morning. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.
