Severe thunderstorms with heavy falls have eased in the northwest of the state.
Weather Situation
Slow moving thunderstorms along a surface trough in a very moist airmass generating heavy falls have now eased.

Peninsula, Gulf Country, North Tropical Coast and Tablelands, Northern Goldfields and Upper Flinders, Herbert and Lower Burdekin, North West, Central Coast and Whitsundays, Central Highlands and Coalfields, Central West, Channel Country, Capricornia, Wide Bay and Burnett, Maranoa and Warrego, Darling Downs and Granite Belt and Southeast Coast
This warning is now cancelled.
75 mm of rainfall was recorded at Mount Isa Aerodrome in the 3 hours to 9:00 pm.
75 mm of rainfall was recorded at Strathpark in the 2 hours to to 8:00pm.
48 mm of rainfall was recorded at Dajarra Airport in the 1 hour to 3:39 pm.
