RENEWED MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT CAMOOLA PARK AND LONGREACH FROM MONDAY
Along the Thomson River the main flood peak has passed Longreach and is around Bogewong. This peak may result in moderate flooding downstream at Stonehenge from Monday evening and minor flooding at Jundah from overnight Monday into Tuesday. Further upstream another peak has passed through Muttaburra and may result in minor flooding at Camoola Park from Monday and Longreach from around Wednesday.
The main flood peak along Jordan Creek has passed into the Alice River. Minor flooding is slowly easing at Jericho and Barcaldine.
Thomson River:
Moderate flooding is possible at Stonehenge along the Thomson River. Moderate flooding is occurring at Bogewong. Minor flooding is occurring along the Darr River following a moderate flood peak. Renewed minor flooding is possible at Camoola Park and Longreach.
There are no recent observations available for the Thomson River at Camoola Park, however, the river level is expected to be below the minor flood level (2.00 m) and steady.
The Thomson River at Camoola Park may exceed the minor flood level (2.00 m) during Monday as upstream flows arrive.
The Thomson River at Longreach is currently at 3.11 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Thomson River at Longreach is likely to remain below the minor flood level (3.30 m) for the next few days. The river may reach around the minor flood level (3.30 m) from around Wednesday. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.
The Thomson River at Stonehenge is currently at 2.20 m and rising, with minor flooding.
The Thomson River at Stonehenge may peak near the moderate flood level (3.00 m) around Monday evening.
The Thomson River at Jundah is currently at 1.72 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Thomson River at Jundah is likely to exceed the minor flood level (2.50 m) from overnight Monday into Tuesday. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.
Barcoo River to Isisford:
Minor flooding is easing along the Jordan Creek and Alice River.
No observations are currently available for the Jordan Creek at Jericho. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, the river level at Jericho is estimated to be around the minor flood level and steady.
The Jordan Creek at Jericho may remain around the minor flood level (2.00 m) for the remainder of Sunday and into Monday.
No observations are currently available for the Alice River at Barcaldine. However, it is estimated that the river level is above the minor flood level and falling following a minor flood peak during Saturday.
The Alice River at Barcaldine may remain above the minor flood level (3.00 m) for the remainder of Sunday and into Monday.
Barcoo River downstream of Isisford:
Minor flooding has eased along the Barcoo River at Retreat.
The Barcoo River at Retreat is currently at 1.49 m and falling, below the minor flood level.

MAJOR FLOODING EXPECTED TO CONTINUE FALLING SLOWLY AT WALKERS BEND
Moderate rainfall since Tuesday has caused renewed river level rises along the upper Flinders River. Minor flooding is estimated to be occurring along the Flinders River at Richmond, where river levels are falling following a moderate flood peak during Saturday.
Downstream along the lower Flinders River at Walkers Bend, major flooding is expected to continue falling slowly following a major flood peak earlier this month.
Flinders River to Richmond:
Minor flooding is occurring at Richmond.
No current observations are available for the Flinders River at Richmond Post Office. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, the river level is estimated to be above the minor flood level (5.00 m) and falling following a moderate flood peak during Saturday.
The Flinders River at Richmond Post Office may remain above the minor flood level (5.00 m) for the remainder of Sunday and into Monday.
Flinders River downstream of Richmond:
Major flooding is estimated to be continuing along the Flinders River downstream of Richmond.

MODERATE FLOODING EXPECTED TO CONTINUE AT WINTON FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS
FLOODING CONTINUING AT DIAMANTINA LAKES
Widespread heavy rainfall late last week has caused river level rises and flooding across the Diamantina River catchment and its upper tributaries, including the Western River catchment. An earlier flood peak is continuing to move downstream along the Diamantina River.
Moderate flooding is expected to be continuing at Winton during Sunday. Further downstream, moderate flooding is occurring along the Diamantina River at Diamantina Lakes. River levels remain above the causeway and are easing slowly as the flood peak continues to move downstream.
Diamantina River to Diamantina Lakes:
The Diamantina River at Diamantina Lakes is at 5.62 m and steady, above the level of the Springvale Diamantina Lakes Road Causeway (2.10 m).
Western River:
Moderate flooding is expected to be occurring along the Western River at Winton.
No current observations are available for the Western River at Winton. The most recent observation was recorded at approximately 9:00 am on Saturday, when the river level was 2.50 metres and rising, with moderate flooding.
The Western River at Winton is expected to remain above the moderate flood level (2.00 m) for the next few days.
Diamantina River downstream of Diamantina Lakes:
River level rises are occurring along the lower Diamantina River downstream of Diamantina Lakes. Minor flooding is occurring at Monkira.

MODERATE FLOODING LIKELY TO CONTINUE AT ST ANNS INTO MONDAY
MINOR FLOODING EASING SLOWLY AT TAEMAS
Moderate to heavy rainfall has been observed across parts of the Burdekin River catchment since last weekend, with particularly heavy falls over parts of the Belyando and Suttor River catchments. Moderate flooding is likely to continue along the Suttor River at St Anns into Monday.
Further moderate rainfall has been observed over parts of the Cape River catchment since Wednesday. Minor flooding is slowly easing along the Cape River at Taemas after a minor peak on Friday. Downstream of Burdekin Falls Dam, river level rises along the Burdekin River are expected to remain below minor flood levels.
A chance of showers and thunderstorms is forecast across parts of the Burdekin River catchment over the next few days. However, this rainfall is not expected to cause significant additional river level rises.
Belyando and Suttor Rivers to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Suttor River at St Anns.
The Suttor River at St Anns is currently at 7.13 m and steady, with moderate flooding.
The Suttor River at St Anns is likely to remain above the moderate flood level (6.50 m) overnight Sunday into Monday. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.
Cape River to Burdekin Falls Dam:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Cape River at Taemas.
The Cape River at Taemas is on a generally easing trend after peaking at 5.61 m around 11:30 am Friday 16 January, with minor flooding. The river is currently at 5.26 m and steady, with minor flooding.
The Cape River at Taemas may fall below the minor flood level (5.00 m) overnight Sunday into Monday.
