Cancellation Of Severe Weather Warning

for Mount Lofty Ranges, Yorke Peninsula, Flinders, Mid North and Murraylands districts.

Issued at 4:29 pm Monday, 15 September 2025.

Damaging wind gusts have now eased.

Weather Situation
A cold front has now moved through the state, with winds easing in the wake of the system.
cancellation of severe weather warning for the following areas:
Mount Lofty Ranges, Yorke Peninsula, Flinders, Mid North and Murraylands
This warning is now cancelled. Other warnings may be current. Please check www.bom.gov.au/australia/warnings/.
104 km/h wind gust was recorded at Hindmarsh Island at 12:22 pm.
94 km/h wind gust was recorded at Strathalbyn Racecourse at 11:28 am.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Keep clear of fallen power lines;
* Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road.
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.

No further warnings will be issued for this event.
Warnings are also available through TV and Radio broadcasts, the Bureau's website at www.bom.gov.au or call 1300 659 210. The Bureau and State Emergency Service would appreciate warnings being broadcast regularly.
