Severe Thunderstorm Warning
for Large Hailstones, Damaging Winds And Heavy Rainfall
for parts of North West Pastoral and North East Pastoral districts.

Severe thunderstorms have developed west of Coober Pedy.
Weather Situation
A cold front advancing inland and eastwards through SA is generating scattered thunderstorms, some of them severe.
LARGE HAILSTONES, DAMAGING WINDS and HEAVY RAINFALL for the following areas:
North West Pastoral and North East Pastoral
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce large hailstones, damaging winds and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Coober Pedy and Oodnadatta.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Move cars under cover or away from trees.
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while storms are nearby.
The next warning is due to be issued by 8:40 pm.
Warnings are also available through TV and Radio broadcasts, the Bureau's website at www.bom.gov.au or call 1300 659 210. The Bureau and State Emergency Service would appreciate warnings being broadcast regularly.
